King’s Hawaiian for the first time with my goddaughter’s cousin, Gianna. That kid is a kikay in the making. She kept insisting that I adopt her. hahaha!

Weekend of celebrations for Dad’s birthday & the parentals’ 30th wedding anniversary!

Tuesday Night Activity - DIY Nail Polish Rack for under $5
After watching several videos on YouTube last night, I got super inspired to turn my mess of a collection into this pretty awesome rack - and it’s super inexpensive!! I personally needed just the boards (3) and duct tape (2). Lucky for me I found all of them at the dollar store half a block from my house.
My cost: $0.99 x 5 = $4.95 + tax.
I was a little apprehensive when I first saw a tutorial for it on YouTube. But this little bugger is sturdy as heck! I’m definitely NOT a crafty person, so I’m pleased with how this came out.
[Stores approximately 90 polishes, ~15 each shelf]Tools you need:3 - 20” x 30” foam boardGlue gun and glue sticksRulerExacto knife or any kind of bladeDuct tape (of your choice, if desired)
How to:
Draw lines across Board #1 5-inches apart (total of 5 lines) - this will be where you glue the shelves onto
Create seven 2” x 20” strips withBoard #2 - makes shelves
Create seven 1” x 20” strips with Board #2 - makes shelf ends
Create two 2.5” x 30” strips with Board #3 - makes sides
Optional wrap desired strips with duct tape (videos I watched only wrapped the shelf ends. I did all of them.)
Hot glue gun all the pieces together - starting with the shelves, then the sides, and lastly the shelf ends.
Make sure to add a layer of glue to the bottom of each shelf for extra support.

My “Stuck in a 90’s Groove” playlist

For the past couple of weeks I’ve been stuck in a 90’s groove thanks to ”A Lot Like Love” and ”Friends with Benefits”. And since I’m still high off of the two NKOTB & BSB Concerts I went to, I sometimes throw in a little bit of that every now and then.

1. Goo Goo Dolls - Iris
2. Dave Matthews Band - Crash Into Me
3. Eagle-Eye Cherry - Save Tonight
4. Third Eye Blind - Semi-Charmed Life
5. Semisonic - Closing Time
6. Oasis - Wonderwall
7. The Cranberries - Linger
8. Radiohead - Creep
9. Alanis Morissette - Ironic
10. The Verve Pipe - The Freshman

Even though I personally love the music of the 70’s, the 90’s is definitely a very close second :)

Movie day with @lillaydeekt

Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, & Josh Groban = Sexy, Hot, & Dreamy.

Spent the day with bestie watching these two awesome movies. The *NSYNC fan girl in me came alive during Friends with Benefits, and I’m sure I died watching Gosling & Groban. MMM.

Highlights:

1. Justin insisting that “Closing Time” was sung by Third Eye Blind
2. That moment where they showed on Crazy Stupid Love the theater we were watching in. Whole theater pointed and laughed.
3. Bruno Mars’ “Runaway Baby” opening song in Friends with Benefits.
4. Justin’s ass & Ryan’s abs. Damn.

HAHA. Okay that is all.

I love both bands for different reasons. But yes, the truth is they’re BOTH AMAZING.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood with friends from Toronto

After 14 years, finally met four of the fives boys of @BackstreetBoys. T’was a great night. Los Angeles (Staples Center) show blew my mind. THE best concert I’ve ever been to, without a frikkin’ doubt. LA knows how to show love! KTBSPA!!!! And, I’m definitely a new New Kids on the Block fan. For 40+ year olds, they’re still so pretty damn hot. Love.

Some pics from my first Backstreet Boys / New Kids on the Block concert! Best frikkin’ day ever!
