I had so much fun today with @lillaydeekt! After TWO long weeks of waiting and desperately wanting to see “Inception”, Katie and I finally got to see it! We are two big Leonardo DiCaprio fanatics, and then add on Joseph Gorden-Levitt to the mix… ayy *insert googly eyes* That movie doesn’t mess around, except with your friggin’ mind! And that’s all I’m going to say about that. LOL. Loved the movie! It’s a must watch, and it’s up there as one of my fave films of the year =)

After the movie, we had lunch at our favorite place to eat. Then went to go be tourists in LA (well up until we got lazy. Such grandmas!). We went to the “(500) Days of Summer” bench because Katie had never been. The weather was just perfect (not too hot or cold), and we stayed there for quite awhile - chatting and people-watching lol.

We spotted this train thingie off to the side of Angels Knoll Park, and we Googled it, of course. It’s supposed to be the “shortest railway in the world”. In the world?!? We just had to ride it! Not only was it the shortest railway, but the shortest ride EVER. Haha fun nonetheless!

After, we went to go see the “Charmed” manor in Echo Park, which I’ve been dying to see ever since I found out it was actually located in LA! I always figured that since it’s set in San Francisco, they’d shoot a house in SF even if they don’t necessarily film there. Uber-excited when we got there. There were a bunch of old Victorian homes, and it was just crazy beautiful. Apparently, that was also the block that Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” music video was shot. So that made it even cooler! Lots of history there.

We sat in the car for a long while trying to think of other places to go. We kinda wanted to go drive to the “Disturbia” house where Shia LaBeouf “lived”, but we were way too lazy to drive to Whittier. Haha!

So we just killed time and ran some errands after our touristy day. And now I’m POOPED! Tomorrow, the fam and I going over to Bonelli Park for a picnic for my Dad’s birthday. It should be fun. I hope the weather’s as great as it was today.
